Lady Jane Grey and Lily Cole

Lady Jane Grey makes an appearance

Many of you share my slight infatuation with the Tudor period which includes Lady Jane Grey, Queen of England for a mere nine days.

The delectable English rose Lily Cole wore an unusually beautiful dress when attending the premier of her movie, The Moth Diaries, at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The dress depicts Deleroche's 1833 painting 'The Execution of Lady Jane Grey'. If Lily Cole was any bustier I doubt the face of Lady Jane would have been recognisable or indeed as beautiful. Lily Cole graduated in the summer of 2011 with a double first in history of art. It shows that brains and beauty can indeed go together.
